The diploma thesis deals with a problematics of project management. The major point is to create a project that is aiming on expanding field of aktivity in selected company with the use of theoretical knowledge of project management. This knowledge is desribed in first chapter of the diploma thesis. The second chapter contains basic informations about company and the analysis of company surroundings. The last part of the thesis solves proposals and desribes benefits created by these solutions in monitored company.

Diploma thesis focuses on the development of parking building with commercial premises Rychtářka in Plzeň, which is realized in the form of public and private sector partnership. The thesis deals with effective application of project management methods in light of the general contractor Hermosa Parking Plzeň a.s. Information and knowledge gained in the theoretical part of the thesis are then used in the practical part for the design of project management methodics on development project Rychtářka. The outcome of practical part of the thesis is project management methodic, which should help to secure the optimal solution for complex structured process that leads to the realization of parking building Rychtářka and the compliance with all the specific characteristics of development projects.

The thesis describes the project management of a construction contract in a construction company from the supplier's point of view. The work includes a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes important definitions and knowledge, which are then used to create a practical part. It deals with the preparation and management of a specific construction contract called "Reconstruction of the sports hall Otrokovice" with the help of methods and procedures that the issue offers.

Master´s thesis focuses on the utilisation of project management methodology within the design of a project in a selected company. It specifies theoretical sources which are the key for the project plan proposal. It applies the theory to the project of introducing electronic commerce in the field of building material sale. The thesis containts the plan proposal and optimisation of the project in terms of time, costs and use of available resources, together with the analysis of a company environment.
